We are currently hiring for "Sr. Finance Manager" role with a leading startup based out in Pune. Job Description:- Financial Oversight: Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy in day-to-day transactions and reports. Prepare detailed financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets, for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement systems for better financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making. Audit & Internal Controls: Lead internal and external audits to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to industry standards. Proactively identify financial risks and implement controls to strengthen governance. Prepare for investor-driven audits and financial due diligence during funding rounds. Collaborate with auditors, providing all necessary documentation and insights for smooth and timely audits. Strategic Financial Planning: Design and execute financial strategies to support short-term and long-term growth objectives. Conduct detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis for new initiatives and market expansions. Partner with leadership to optimize budgeting and forecasting, aligning with growth priorities. Manage fund-raising efforts by preparing investor-ready financial statements and valuation models. Operational Efficiency: Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to ensure financial sustainability in a fast-paced startup environment. Review cost structures, identify inefficiencies, and execute cost-reduction initiatives. Drive automation and innovation in financial operations to scale efficiently. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build trust with board members, investors, and other stakeholders through transparent financial communication. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for product launches, market expansions, and other strategic initiatives. Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, auditors, and key service providers. Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Set up scalable processes to support the organizations growth and financial objectives. Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and internal controls. Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment with tight deadlines. Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience & Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification (mandatory). Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred). 14+ years of experience, including exposure to startups or high-growth environments.,
