ROLE TITLE: Sr. Executive Vendor Development sheet metal & compression molded parts REPORTS TO: Manager VD LOCATION: GMDC -Vasai DATE: 1 Sep 2024 JOB PURPOSE: To strengthen the rapidly expanding business in New Product development in Rubber/Plastic Moulding and machining. DIMENSIONS: External Partners Customer Internal Customers SCM/Planning/SQA External Customers External testing lab / Supplier Position Holders Sr. Executive- VD KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Product & Vendor Development of Rubber & Plastic Moulding and Machining products. Development of Moulding products. Development of Machining products and CNC machining validation. Monitoring of multiple source development of components as per the requirements Identification of new suppliers Implementation of PPAP at suppliers Supplier process improvement Co-ordination for cost deflation. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES 1. PPAP approach to new product development. (Advanced) 2. Knowledge of various Moulding & Machining processes. (Capable) 3. Good knowledge of measuring instruments & gauging. (Capable) 4. Quality analysis & Improvement tools. (Capable) 5. Good knowledge of Excel. 6. Good knowledge of PPT. MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES 1. Communication. (Basic) 2. Proper Coordination.
