You will be responsible for designing and developing ETL processes using Talend Studio, specifically version 7.1.1, for data integration, data quality, and metadata management/governance. Your primary duties will include designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines, performing data migration and conversion tasks, and developing software applications while adhering to established development methodologies and standards. Collaboration with Business Analysts, Architects, and Senior Developers will be essential to establish the physical application framework and ensure the integration of suitable architectural patterns, performance considerations, and security measures. Additionally, you will be expected to automate end-to-end ETL processes for various datasets ingested into the big data platform. Required skills for this role include proficiency in file handling and integrations, Spark/Spark Streaming, Talend Big Data Tool Set, Linux, Python, and strong SQL knowledge. It would be advantageous to have strong database design skills and a good understanding of Agile development practices. Other responsibilities may include leading technical design sessions, documenting project artifacts, suggesting best practices and implementation strategies using Talend ETL tools, and staying informed about industry standards, methodologies, and best practices.
