Job Description

The Domain Architect / Engineering Manager for Radio Communication systems is responsible for developing the design deliverables of various radio communication systems such as GSM-R, TETRA, LTE technology, and IP EPABX systems for Mainline and MRT Projects within the EDRC telecom organization. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with the bidding team and supporting execution works for site configurations, RF planning, numbering plan design, and simulation studies. In the realm of Radio Communication (TETRA, GSM-R & LTE), you are expected to possess in-depth knowledge of technical skills related to TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) including ETSI Protocols, GSM-R specifications, EIRIENE importance in radio communication, LTE technology, 3GPP standards, latest releases, 5G, and FRMCS. Your expertise should extend to radio network planning, RF prediction and planning, and familiarity with specialized tools such as ATOLL Simulation tool, Radio Spectrum Tool, Radio Test Tool, RF Power meter, and Drive test tool. You should be well-versed in fleet mapping, traffic analysis, and bandwidth calculation, along with a solid understanding of 5G Radio FRMS guidelines, RAMS, and EMC considerations relevant to radio systems. Additionally, you should have a good grasp of telephone systems and central digital recording servers, including IP-PABX systems, direct line phones, console setups, wayside and hot line phone systems, voice recording, centralized voice mail systems, and traffic calculations specific to MRT and Mainline Projects. Your responsibilities will also encompass creating logical networks, network topology for PABX, integrating PABX on SIP with PA and radio systems, as well as working with analog and digital trunks (CO, PRI-ISDN, etc.) and protocols like MIB, SNTP, SNMP, Q-SIG, TCP/IP, and ETSI protocols. Furthermore, you will be involved in NMS configuration and designing, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of RAMS and EMC standards for effective implementation.,
