Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for Electrical Design in various sectors such as Residential, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial Projects. Your role will involve designing, coordinating, and providing detailed engineering to ensure the optimal utilization of available resources for electrical engineering services. Key responsibilities include designing high-voltage and medium-voltage distribution systems, preparing DBR with Load calculation and DG set calculation, designing LV & MV panels, schematic/riser drawings, MV cabling-routing, correct sizing based on de-rating factor and voltage drop calculation, and specifying various HV & MV switchgear, Transformers, Diesel Generators, and other major capital items. You will also be involved in internal electrification for energy optimization, illumination designs, lighting distribution, conduiting, wiring, cabling, power backup systems such as DG and UPS distribution, selection of Capacitor Banks for power factor improvements, and preparing external electrical layouts including Substation, Earthing Layout, and Voltage Drop calculation. Additionally, your role will require you to prepare tender documents for total electrical works, including point wiring, cables, Distribution Boards, L.T. panel, Transformer, D.G. Set, UPS, Inverters, and other electrical items. Operating knowledge of Revit is also preferred for this position. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a desired experience range of 8 to 15 years.,
