Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and 6-8 yrs relevant experience, Senior Data Professional (Data Analyst / Data Designer / Data Engineer) to join our Compliance Technology team. This role will be critical in supporting performance diagnostics, root cause analysis, AI-led transformation, and dashboard development across multiple functional areasCompliance Connect, Screening, and AML/Fraudwith a strong focus on Snowflake, Power BI, and modern data and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Connect (CCP):
- Analyze the existing Compliance Connect Portal (Angular + Power BI) architecture and identify UX, data latency, and performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Snowflake-based data processing and integration architecture supporting CCP dashboards and 2C reports.
- Provide recommendations to optimize architecture, improve performance, and enhance scalability.
- Collaborate with tech leads to finalize and implement approved recommendations.
- Provide hands-on support to development teams in implementing architecture and performance improvements.
2. Screening:
- Support implementation of AI-based Customer De-duplication solutions by analyzing data overlaps, matching algorithms, and training sets.
- Design and build dashboards to monitor:
- False Positive rates and mitigation strategies
- Alert and Case disposition efficiency
- Application environment health and vulnerabilities
- Investigate root causes of false positives and recommend data-driven remediation steps.
- Analyze inefficiencies in case disposition processes and support design of improved workflows.
- Work closely with development teams and technical leads to execute improvements.
3. AML, Fraud & ECW:
- Build and optimize dashboards to track AML/Fraud process KPIs: False Positive trends, investigation throughput, and disposition productivity.
- Use Snowflake and Power BI to create scalable, business-friendly data views and reports.
- Conduct root cause investigations of inefficiencies and anomalies in alert management.
- Identify and prioritize business use cases for ECW (Enterprise Compliance Warehouse), and execute PoCs to demonstrate business value.
- Drive continuous improvement by aligning with key stakeholders and technology teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or solution design in Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services domains.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and advanced SQL, especially with Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
- Solid understanding of analytics for risk and compliance use cases such as false positive reduction, alert triaging, and investigative workflow analysis.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms, ideally in a Snowflake-based data lakehouse architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill technical complexity into business-oriented solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AML, Fraud, Employee Compliance, and Financial Crime workflows.
- Experience with AI/ML use cases in compliance (e.g., customer de-duplication, alert scoring).
- Knowledge of Angular or other UI frameworks is a plus (for front-end collaboration).
- Experience with vulnerability management and DevSecOps principles is a plus.
- Agile delivery experience, with exposure to working in cross-functional squads or pods.
