Job Title: Director / Senior Consultant - Urologist Location: Fortis Hospital, Delhi-NCR Department: Urology Reporting To: Medical Director / Hospital Administrator Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director / Senior Consultant in Urology to lead and provide expert-level clinical services in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urological conditions. The ideal candidate will bring outstanding clinical acumen, leadership ability, and a commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and education. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Urology department and oversee all clinical, operational, and administrative activities. Perform advanced diagnostic evaluations and surgical interventions for disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Offer minimally invasive, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and robotic procedures as appropriate. Develop and implement department protocols, clinical guidelines, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior consultants, residents, and medical staff. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management. Drive clinical quality initiatives and continuous improvement measures. Participate in academic programs, CME activities, and research initiatives. Ensure compliance with hospital standards, accreditation requirements, and medical ethics. Qualifications & Experience: MBBS with MS (General Surgery) and MCh/DNB (Urology) from a recognized institution. Minimum 1015 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary care or reputed hospital. Proven track record in complex urological surgeries and advanced procedures. Leadership experience in managing teams or departments is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: Expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. Sub-specialization in areas such as uro-oncology, pediatric urology, or renal transplantation is a plus.
