Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Environmental Division is seeking a skilled Civil 3D Designer to join the team in Mumbai Office and provide support to projects in the US. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in civil engineering projects and be proficient in using advanced CAD software, particularly Civil 3D. This position calls for a proactive and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a solid work ethic. Responsibilities: - Utilize Civil 3D Software for designing and analyzing stormwater systems, roadway infrastructure, and other civil engineering projects. - Apply CAD commands effectively to ensure precise design and modeling. - Perform grading work and land development projects. - Conduct stormwater design and analysis using various software tools. - Design, model, and analyze sewer systems within Civil 3D. - Design and model roadway projects using Civil 3D. - Ensure accuracy and efficiency in project execution. - Demonstrate project management experience with a focus on delivering high-quality projects efficiently. - Understand and design underground utility systems, applying engineering principles for effective design. - Utilize Sheet Set Manager (SSM) in Civil 3D for stormwater, sewer, water, and other utility projects, including effective label and organization of project documentation. - Utilize vehicle tracking software for project planning and execution to ensure proper vehicle movement and logistics on project sites. Qualifications: - ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. - 5-10 years of experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Navis Works detailing involving Grading, Pipe network & Underground Utilities, and Roadways. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Civil 3D Software and related design tools. - Comprehensive knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and roadway design. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong leadership skills for managing teams. - Hardworking, dedicated, proactive, and eager to learn. - Strong problem-solving abilities. - Experience in leading and managing a team of designers and engineers, coordinating tasks and ensuring project deadlines are met.
