Summary

Ensure specific quality of water required for a supercritical power plant. Conduct testing of input chemicals, treat all the waste generated in the plant, and ensure zero liquid discharge.

Key Responsibilities

1.Ensure the boiler feed and steam parameters as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendation.

2.Operate under the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling hazardous chemicals. 

3.Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of membrane as per design.

4.Ensure production of demineralized water as per specified quality limits. 

5.Ensure the treatment of all the effluents to achieve and maintain the zero-liquid discharge. 

6.Ensure up-keeping of all sophisticated equipment used in water and coal testing. 

7.Conduct testing of lubricating oil used in various equipment of the plant 

8.Maintain condensate cooling system water as per recommended treatment program.  

9.Ensure the quality of raw/ input chemicals used in thermal power plants as per the specified standard. 

10.Conduct testing of LDO/HFO oi

11.Gather & adopt new updates on power plant corrosion chemistry. 

12.Attend knowledge sharing- keep up sessions with the developments in the outer environment.
