Job Description

The Change Manager role involves overseeing all IT changes within the organization. You will be responsible for convening and leading the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and handling emergency changes. Your decisions will play a crucial role in minimizing the impact of changes on the production environment and daily business operations. Your tasks will include documenting change management processes, ensuring communication with stakeholders, and enforcing process adherence. Collaborating with various stakeholders from both the technology and business units is essential. Understanding business needs and goals to prioritize impactful changes is a key aspect of the role. Coordinating with incident and problem managers for failed changes, liaising with business service managers to understand impacts, and applying structured ITIL methodology are part of your responsibilities. You will develop, maintain, and implement IT Change Management processes, provide guidance on change management policies, and manage change-related communications. Conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, identifying stakeholders, and monitoring progress are crucial elements of the role. You will facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings, ensure RFCs are approved, and conduct Post Implementation Reviews. Maintaining change documentation, managing stakeholders, tracking issues, and creating change schedules are also part of your duties. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities include maintaining change management policy adherence, planning and running CAB meetings effectively, managing stakeholder relations, and providing leadership to the change team. Ensuring governance, risk management, and process alignment with ITIL standards are essential aspects of the role. The ideal candidate should possess 10-15 years of IT work experience, including at least 5 years in IT Change Control in a multi-platform environment. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, change management principles, methodologies, and tools is required. Exceptional communication skills, active listening skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence others are crucial. Flexibility, resilience, business acumen, network infrastructure knowledge, planning skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are important attributes. Experience in network and server infrastructure, software installation, financial systems, and ITIL certification are preferable for this role.,
