As a Mortgage Underwriter at WNS, you will be responsible for verifying loan applications, reviewing all 4 Cs, evaluating risks, and making loan eligibility decisions. In this role, you will utilize your experience in US mortgage underwriting, with a minimum of 1 year of mandatory experience. It is essential to have a thorough understanding of Conventional, FHA, and VA underwriting guidelines, as well as working knowledge of real estate lending criteria and federal, state, and agency compliance. Strong organizational skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are also key requirements for this position. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in any stream and have a proven track record as an experienced mortgage professional in US mortgage underwriting. The role offers the flexibility of a 5-day work week with the convenience of complete work-from-home arrangements.
