As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus will be to deliver excellent post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while also acting as a dedicated advocate for customer needs. Your responsibilities will include handling post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic channels, as well as addressing technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. You will serve as a crucial point of contact for customers, playing a key role in nurturing customer relationships with Support and offering guidance and support to internal Oracle employees in various customer situations and escalated issues. Your key responsibilities will include: - Being available for 24x7 shift operations when required - Demonstrating strong performance tuning skills, including query level tuning, database tuning, and memory level tuning - Possessing expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery, etc. - Demonstrating strong DBA skills and practical experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c - Experience in implementing high availability features of Oracle Database - Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is a plus - Knowledge of DB Security including AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE will be advantageous - Demonstrating sharp technical troubleshooting skills - Having a good understanding of support processes - Ability to manage escalated technical situations and develop effective action plans - Identifying proactive services that benefit customers - Facilitating collaboration between Development and Support teams - Configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Golden Gate Additionally, knowledge or understanding of the Indian Banking environment and applications will be beneficial for this role.
