Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Fort Experience: 5 - 10 years Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance, and managing general ledger activities. If youre passionate about numbers, analysis, and process improvement, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting. Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and resolve discrepancies. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings and audits. Provide leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation. Stay updated on accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or financial management. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
