Job Description
We are looking for an experienced 3D Artist to join our team on a [full-time/contract] basis. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and environments for XR, simulations, visualizations, Web, or other interactive media. This role will involve collaborating with designers, developers, and other creative teams to produce visually stunning and optimized 3D content across different platforms. Detailed Job Description: Collaborate with the team to create high-quality 3D models, environments, props, and other assets. Develop realistic or stylized textures, materials, and shaders for 3D assets. Work with game engine developers to ensure 3D assets are optimized for performance and visual appeal across various platforms. Optimize 3D models for real-time applications, ensuring efficient use of resources and memory. Use tools such as 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, or other 3D software to create and refine assets. Develop and manage UV maps, texture painting, and material creation workflows. Collaborate on asset integration, ensuring assets work seamlessly with game engines or other 3D environments (Unity, Unreal, etc.). Assist with lighting, rendering, and shading techniques to achieve realistic or stylized looks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset integration and performance. Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve asset quality and production pipelines. Requirements: `` 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming, visualization, or simulation industries. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as 3ds Max, Blender, Maya, or equivalent. Experience in texturing, material creation, and UV mapping for 3D assets. Familiarity with game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, or other relevant platforms for asset integration and optimization.
