Job Description
You should have a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience as a Sr. Test Engineer. Your main responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing business requirements, testing high-performance web applications, and implementing test automation using Selenium by writing scripts in Java. You should also have experience in working on Agile projects, integrating Selenium RC and TestNG, and performing White box testing. It would be beneficial if you have experience in the E-commerce domain, open-source performance testing methods and tools like JMeter, database-related testing, and security-related testing. You will be expected to understand and document testing requirements, create and review test cases, execute and review test results, and submit test reports to stakeholders. In addition to technical skills, you should have a passion for excellence, be proactive in taking new initiatives, and possess excellent communication skills. You must also be a good communicator, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences, and have excellent written and spoken English. Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and mentoring skills are also essential for this role.
