Job Description: Security Manager (Hospital Site) Location: Navi Mumbai Overview: The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations on a 24*7 basis. This role entails managing a large team of security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, and visitors, and maintaining a secure environment conducive to healthcare operations. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Supervise and coordinate a team of over 200+ guards, including 3 Security Officers per shift, 1 Training Manager, and a Fire Marshal. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of security service delivery. Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of security services, including deployment scheduling, shift rotations, and emergency response readiness. Address manpower shortages promptly through effective recruitment and deployment strategies. Administrative Duties: Manage billing and invoicing processes related to security services. Incident Management: Develop and implement protocols for incident response and emergency situations. Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, accidents, or incidents and provide timely reports to management. Facility Management: Oversee parking management, CCTV monitoring, traffic control and crowd control measures within the hospital premises. Coordinate with local authorities for traffic control and emergency response coordination. Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with hospital administration, staff, and patients through effective communication and responsiveness to security concerns. Act as a point of contact for security-related queries and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security protocols. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in security management, preferably within the healthcare or related industry. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a large and diverse team effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicts. In-depth knowledge of security operations, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and emergency response protocols. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in crisis situations. Additional Requirements: Bachelors degree. Certification in security management if any. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to healthcare security.
