Job Description
Planning & deployment of IT Resources: Plan the requirement of and deploy the IT resources including manpower, hardware, software and bandwidth to meet the Business requirements Reviewutilizationofexisting resources Assess additional requirements based on previous year and current needs PrepareandsubmitproposaltoFH(F&C)and implement the solutions once approved Formulate,implementandreviewITplanforthe Project Operations Ensure uninterrupted operations of the IT systems to support the Business requirement. Put in place necessary basic infrastructure like power, air conditioning, dust-proofing, etc for the critical equipment like Servers, WAN equipment, etc Put in place a reliable security and authorization system to eliminate damage or loss to data Ensureregularbackupof data Keepreadyadisasterrecovery plan. AspenTech implementation. IP Telephony Continuous Improvement Identify, evaluate develop & implement new technologies (Hardware & software) and continuously improve system performance and solutions deployed to enable the Business to gain benchmark position. Assessthecurrentsystemandnetworkuptime and response times Planactionforimprovementsinuptimeand response times Regularly collect information on new technologies Evaluatethenew technologies Interactwithvendors& consultants VisitWebsitesfor assessment Prepareandsubmitproposalfor implementation Budget Control Monitor and control the Dept budget to optimise operating cost. Prepare annual budgets for Hardware, software, consumables etc. Monitorpurchasesagainst budget. Takecorrective action. Internal customer satisfaction: Ensure timely redressal of internal customer complaints to improve customer satisfaction. Modifysystemtoincorporateuser requirement. Monitorsystem regularly. Planperiodicalusersatisfaction survey. Makecomplainthandling system. Monitorcomplaintredressal time. Analyze&implement solutions. System implementation Ensure implementation of systems like WCM/TPM/ISO/EMS, etc in IT Dept. through employees involvement for continuous improvement in various activities. Coordinatewithotherdepartmentsforvarious activities. Developplansinvarious areas. Allocateresponsibilitiestovariouspersons& periodical review of progress. Coordinatewithinternal auditors. TakingactionsforclearingNCRs intime. Attainmentofcriteria score/targets. Improvementofinternalcustomer rating. Takingactionsforstatutory compliances. Encourageparticipationinrewards, competitions. Participateinsubcommittee activities. Implement Corp. IT policies with respect to Information Security & other issues StrictlyimplementCorp.ITpolicieswithregular updation. EnsuringofISS KPIs. ParticipateinCorp.IT initiatives.,
