About Aditya Birla Chemicals

Job Description

As a Lab Inventory and Compliance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage and maintain the inventory of lab chemicals, packing materials, consumables, and working standards. You will be required to track daily consumption of these items to support accurate monthly inventory planning. In addition, you will prepare inventory reports and raise requisitions to address any deficits that may arise. A key aspect of your role will involve ensuring the timely analysis of Raw Material (RM), Packing Material, and In-process Finished Goods (FG) samples. This includes standardizing all analytical solutions used in testing and validating the periodic calibration of laboratory instruments. Your attention to detail will be crucial in reviewing root cause analysis reports for breakdowns or abnormalities and proposing preventive measures to mitigate future issues. Compliance is a critical component of this position, as you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promoting first-time-right results to minimize the need for reanalysis. You will also be involved in reviewing and validating customer-agreed product specifications in SAP, as well as ensuring system-based documentation and the correct implementation of specification characteristics. Furthermore, your role will require active participation in internal, ISO, customer, and departmental audits. It is essential to maintain 100% SOP and regulatory compliance across all Quality Control (QC) operations and drive the closure of audit observations with a focus on continuous system improvement. Overall, your role as a Lab Inventory and Compliance Specialist will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory operations, while also upholding the highest standards of compliance and quality assurance.,
