As a S/E CAD-Designer Harness 3D at LEONI, you will be responsible for designing and developing wiring systems using 2D/3D design tools and relevant methods. Your role will involve creating 3D documentation, designing wiring system documentations using CAD software, and evaluating product change requests with a focus on VA/VE. You will coordinate changes, report on status to internal and external parties, and define work packages for partners. In this position, you will identify cost and efficiency improvements, support design reviews, and participate in quality and design activities such as DFMEA and Design for Manufacturing. You will analyze and operate according to various requirements from customers, LEONI, IATF, etc. Additionally, you will create production documents like bill of materials, cutting lists, and wire charts, working at LEONI and/or customer sites. Acting as a contact person internally and externally for customers and suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Masters/Engineering degree in a technical field and have expertise in 3D design tools such as Solidworks and Catia. Excellent English communication skills, social & intercultural sensitivity, change management abilities, target & result orientation, motivation & resilience, self-organization skills, conflict management, and teamwork are essential for success in this position.
