Your primary responsibility will involve hands-on automation by developing and maintaining automated test suites across the full stack. Your proficiency in automation frameworks and tools will be instrumental in ensuring comprehensive test coverage throughout the software development lifecycle. Although automation will be a key focus of your role, you will also actively participate in exploratory testing efforts. Collaborating closely with cross-functional team members, including development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will uphold the highest standards of quality at every layer of the software stack. Your involvement in advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle will be essential. You will be expected to identify opportunities to optimize and streamline testing processes, enhancing overall quality assurance practices. Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies will support continuous improvement within the Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence. Your commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions to the business will contribute to the ongoing success of the organization. Your key accountabilities will include designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions for complex software systems within your squad. Additionally, you will contribute to automation strategies and frameworks, provide technical guidance on testing and automation best practices, drive innovation in test automation processes and tools, and collaborate with team leads to refine the overall automation strategy. Conducting non-functional testing, integrating testing tools into the software development lifecycle, troubleshooting issues, and proposing innovative solutions to address technical challenges are also part of your responsibilities. Your technical skills should include solid experience in QA and test automation, understanding of web application architecture, proficiency in .NET C#, experience in creating automated tests for front-end and back-end systems, knowledge of implementing test automation frameworks and design patterns, familiarity with CI/CD, cloud computing, non-functional testing, and containerization technologies. Nice-to-have skills include non-functional testing experience, mentoring QA team members, and testing low-code/no-code applications. Moreover, possessing soft skills such as effective communication, embracing an agile mindset, promoting a collaborative team environment, strong problem-solving skills, and advocating for quality throughout the software development lifecycle will be crucial for success in this role.,
