As an SDET - QA Automation Engineer at Smartwork IT Services, you will be responsible for developing and executing test automation frameworks using Java and Spring Boot. Your primary focus will be on backend testing, including Rest API testing and database validations. You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify automation challenges to improve testing strategies. Designing and executing test cases, analyzing test results, and providing detailed reports to the development team are key aspects of the role. Your technical skills should include strong expertise in Java and Core Java, proficiency in Spring Boot and Rest API testing, as well as experience with database testing and writing complex queries. Understanding QA processes and best practices in test automation is essential. Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation, familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, and knowledge of performance testing tools are considered advantageous.
