Job Description

As an SDET Intern at our company, you will be an integral part of the QA/Engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with developers and QA engineers to create and implement automated tests that ensure the quality of our products. This hands-on internship opportunity will allow you to gain valuable experience in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable testing frameworks. Your responsibilities will include understanding product requirements and functionality, designing and developing automated test cases for various applications, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous test integration and deployment pipelines. You will also be involved in executing manual test cases, analyzing test results, debugging issues, and working with teams to resolve them in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test scripts. To qualify for this position, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You must possess strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python or Java. An understanding of software testing concepts, automation tools like Appium or REST-assured, and problem-solving abilities are also essential. Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and attention to detail are required. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of mobile app testing guidelines, exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, experience with testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and understanding of agile development methodologies.
