Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SDET (Automation + Manual) to join our QA team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual testing and automated test development. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to build robust test frameworks, improve test coverage, and release high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. Perform thorough manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and regression cases. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and build test strategies accordingly. Execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data for both functional and nonfunctional requirements. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar defect management systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing best practices. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 45 years of experience in software testing, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress. Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).,
