As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of 5 to 7 individuals. Your responsibilities will include taking charge of all OKR deliverables, business and tech metrics, as well as managing and evaluating the performance of team members. You will be expected to implement robust experimentation frameworks to assess and refine search algorithms, utilizing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions. It is essential to stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in search and information retrieval to foster continuous innovation within Flipkart. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of engineers in a large-scale consumer-facing environment is crucial. A proven track record of successfully delivering large projects is highly desirable. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala is required, along with familiarity with distributed databases like Elastic Search, Redis, Aerospike, Mysql, and Kafka. In addition, a strong background in Backend design & Architecture and exposure to Agile methodologies are beneficial for this position.,
