Job Description

As a Software Developer (SDE-2) at Living Things, a pioneering IoT platform by iCapotech Pvt Ltd located in Mumbai, you will be part of a team dedicated to accelerating the net zero journey towards a sustainable future. Living Things focuses on bringing mindfulness to energy usage through its innovative platform that seamlessly integrates with existing air conditioners. By optimizing energy consumption and empowering businesses to reduce their carbon footprints, Living Things is driving sustainable practices for a greener world. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance software solutions at Living Things. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key as you work towards delivering innovative products that cater to our users" needs. Your responsibilities will include developing robust backend services using Node.js, Python, and Django, building user-friendly frontend applications with Vue.js and React, deploying cloud-native applications on platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and optimizing application performance through various techniques. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field along with 4-5 years of experience in Software Development. Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and Django is essential, as well as experience in frontend development using React or Vue.js. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns, familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes, and excellent problem-solving skills are also necessary. Additionally, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and experience with performance optimization techniques will be advantageous.
