Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an environment conducive to the effective functioning of a software development team. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring team members, facilitating various Agile ceremonies, and ensuring that the team remains focused on their objectives. You will work closely with team members to identify and remove any barriers that may hinder progress, while also tracking and reporting on the team's performance through relevant metrics. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the team's success and the overall project outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Coach and mentor team members to enhance their understanding of Agile methodologies. - Identify and remove obstacles that may impede the team's progress. - Monitor and report on team performance using appropriate metrics. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Avanade Scrum Project Management. - Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices. - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. - Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving within a team setting. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Scrum. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
