Job Description

You should have overall 6-8 years of experience with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master, preferable from a development background. Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Knowledge of other Agile approaches such as XP, Kanban, etc. Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques like User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team and experience in applying various patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are essential. It is required to have CSM or SAFe certification (SAFe is preferred), Scrum Master certifications, and excellent soft skills in collaboration, communication, and presentation. Experience in Atlassian Product Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and working directly with US clients. Experience in handling multiple scrum-teams simultaneously is also expected. As a Scrum Master, your responsibilities include guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and bring value to the client, assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team, coaching them to higher levels of maturity, and removing impediments. Building a trusting and safe environment, facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution, supporting and educating the Product Owner, and providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible. Communicating and working directly with US clients to ensure the smooth working of the offshore teams and handling multiple scrum teams.
