Maintain an accurate and updated inventory of books, digital resources, magazines, and educational content. Guide students and teachers in selecting age-appropriate and curriculum-aligned reading materials. Promote a reading culture through initiatives like book fairs, reading clubs, storytelling sessions, and competitions. Conduct library orientation programs for new students and staff. Maintain discipline, order, and a quiet learning environment in the library. Coordinate with teachers to support lesson planning with relevant library resources. Maintain library usage data, damage/loss records, and submit monthly reports as needed. Operate and update the digital library management system / school ERP. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the library space. Qualifications Required B.Lib. / M.Lib. Bachelors or Masters degree in Library Science. 13 years of experience working in a school or educational institution library. Proficient in library software and basic computer applications. Good command over spoken and written English. Key Skills & Traits Organized and detail-oriented with good cataloging and record-keeping skills. Passion for books, reading, and working with children. Friendly, approachable, and supportive nature. Tech-savvy with the ability to manage e-resources. Team player with the ability to support school-wide academic activities.,
