Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Location: Onsite / Salt Lake, Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 58 Years Salary: Negotiable Company: Radiant Job Overview: Radiant seeks a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA and electrical panel design. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in automation systems, specifically for projects such as WTP, STP, ETP, dam infrastructure, and industrial monitoring systems. This role is based in our consultancy office but may require occasional travel to project sites. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical control systems and panels using AutoCAD and related tools. Expertise in PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems and integration with automation processes. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project. Draft and review circuit diagrams and electrical layouts with accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with the civil and mechanical teams on WTP, STP, and ETP projects. Ensure project designs are aligned with industry standards, safety codes, and client expectations. Provide technical support during project planning and execution phases. Participate in client meetings and site visits as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 58 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in a consultancy setting. Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC, HMI, and industrial automation systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar software for circuit design. Project experience in WTP, STP, ETP, and similar infrastructure. Willingness to travel to project sites when required. Experience primarily in consultancy office-based jobs.
