Job Description
As a SAP Technical Architect specializing in Cloud Workloads, you will play a crucial role in defining and overseeing architecture strategies for SAP workloads that are hosted on various cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. Your responsibilities will include architecting and leading SAP cloud solutions, designing scalable and secure cloud architectures for SAP landscapes, as well as planning for High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR), performance tuning, sizing, and optimizing costs. Your expertise in SAP Basis, cloud migration, and infrastructure optimization will be essential in providing technical leadership across Basis, infrastructure, and DevOps teams. To excel in this role, you must possess strong SAP technical architecture and migration planning skills, along with an expert-level understanding of HANA, SAP ECC, and S/4HANA infrastructure requirements. Additionally, your experience with cloud-native services and hyperscaler tools will be valuable in creating detailed infrastructure blueprints, solution documents, and architecture guidelines. It is also preferred that you have familiarity with GCP reference architectures and deployment models for SAP, as well as automation skills with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. In addition to your technical skills, soft skills such as being a strategic thinker, technical problem-solver, and having strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities are essential for success in this role.
