Job Description
As the SAP GTS Solution Architect at Applied Materials, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enhancements to the existing SAP GTS to meet new business needs and ensure trade compliance to support business operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams within the IT organization and global business stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead an extended team in India to deliver enhancement projects. Your main responsibilities will include working with business stakeholders to understand their IT requirements, designing appropriate solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the solutions, managing the building, testing, and deploying of the designed solutions in the production environment, providing third-level support on production issues, and leading and guiding extended team members to deliver the solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will have functional experience in working on SAP GTS integrated with SAP ECC, CRM, and other applications, implementing Sanctioned Party Screening, Customs Management for Exports & Imports, Product Classification, and Trade Preference Management. You should have experience in designing and configuring SAP GTS systems, the ability to prepare functional specifications and business requirement documents, guide technical teams in developing custom functional modules and application interfaces, and a good understanding of SAP ECC, S/4, and GTS roadmap.
