As an Infoscion, your primary role within the Infosys consulting team will involve actively supporting the team in various project phases. This includes tasks such as defining problems, estimating efforts, diagnosing issues, generating solutions, designing, and deploying them. You will be required to explore different alternatives to proposed solutions by conducting thorough research, which may include literature surveys, studying public domain information, evaluating vendors, etc. Additionally, you will be responsible for building Proof of Concepts (POCs) based on your research findings. Your duties will also encompass creating requirement specifications based on business needs, outlining future processes, and developing detailed functional designs according to the requirements. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in configuring solution requirements on the products, troubleshooting any issues that arise, determining the root causes of these issues, seeking clarifications, and proposing alternative solutions. Moreover, your responsibilities will extend to contributing to both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering valuable solutions to customers. Your ability to work closely with clients to identify their business challenges and enhance client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and organizing relevant data will be essential. You should possess a good awareness of the latest technologies and industry trends, as well as demonstrate logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities. The ideal candidate should be capable of evaluating existing processes, pinpointing areas for improvement, and recommending appropriate technological solutions. Moreover, having knowledge of one or two industry domains will be advantageous.
