The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant plays a crucial role in efficiently managing warehouse operations and optimizing supply chain processes within the organization. You will leverage SAP EWM functionalities to build efficient logistics operations that meet customer demands and enhance overall organizational performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions that improve inventory management, streamline operations, and reduce costs. As a key member of the IT and supply chain teams, you will ensure that the warehouse systems are robust, user-friendly, and fully aligned with business objectives. Your role demands a strong blend of technical proficiency in SAP EWM, hands-on experience in warehouse processes, and exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with different stakeholders. With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, your contributions are essential for ensuring the organization remains competitive in a rapidly changing logistics landscape. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAP EWM solutions to optimize warehouse operations. Your tasks will include analyzing and mapping business requirements to EWM functionalities, collaborating with stakeholders to define and document warehouse process flows, conducting system testing and validation, providing end-user training and support on SAP EWM modules, monitoring and reporting on warehouse KPIs to identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices for warehouse layout and process design, assisting in data migration and integration between SAP EWM and other systems, staying updated with the latest SAP EWM features and functionalities, and participating in project management activities to ensure timely delivery. To qualify for this role, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EWM or relevant warehousing systems. You should have proven experience in warehouse management processes and logistics operations, a strong understanding of supply chain concepts and integrations, and preferably hold a certification in SAP EWM. Experience with system implementation projects is advantageous, and proficiency in data analysis and process optimization is essential. You should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Your ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrated capacity for multitasking, and effective time management skills will be key to success in this role.,
