Job Highlights JD SAP Basis OSDB consultant B2 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SAP OSDB Migration Basis Associate to join the team. This role involves migrating existing Oracle databases to the Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, experience with database migrations, and knowledge of Azure services. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute the migration of Oracle databases to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess migration requirements and design migration strategies. Perform assessments on existing Oracle databases to identify any potential issues or complexities before migration. Utilize SAP Migration tools such as Software Provisioning Manager and Oracle native backup and restore tools for the migration process. Monitor and optimize database performance post-migration to ensure efficiency and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process or post-migration. Document migration processes, changes, and configurations for future reference and compliance. Experience in handling backup and restore of MaxDB is an added advantage . Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis along with handling SAP OS/DB migrations specifically with Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms. Expertise in SAP Basis administration and Oracle database management. Proficiency in migration tools such as SWPM and Oracle native tools like brtools, RMAN and oracle data guard. Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems in SAP environments. Strong problem-solving skills. Key Skills No skills found,
