Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce CPQ Support Engineer with a hybrid skill set in advanced administration and development, focused on optimizing Salesforce Sales Cloudand CPQ environments. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance Salesforce functionality, troubleshoot complex CPQ issues, support automation and configuration, and implement technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce CPQ & CRM Support:

  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce CPQ including products, pricing rules, discounting logic, and quote templates.
  • Support day-to-day operations by providing Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for Salesforce and CPQ-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex pricing, product configuration, and quote generation problems.
  • Ensure CPQ functionality aligns with business goals and optimize processes across quoting and revenue operations.

Development & Customization:

  • Working knowledge of Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support business user issues.
  • Debug and maintain automated flows, process builders, and validation rules to troubleshoot support cases.
  • Write efficient SOQL/SOSL queries and utilize tools like Workbench and Data Loader for data manipulation and troubleshooting.
  • Customize Salesforce UI/UX using Lightning App Builder and Experience Cloud configuration.

System Administration & Enablement:

  • Manage user profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security controls.
  • Build and support reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to help drive decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and reduced manual efforts across the Sales and Service functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Training & Documentation:

  • Create end-user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users to drive adoption of CPQ and Salesforce features.

Compliance & Support:

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms including DocuSign, Conga Composer, and internal tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer, with at least 3 years of Salesforce CPQ hands-on experience.
  • Understanding of quote-to-cash process integrations with ERP or billing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CPQ object model, price rules, product bundles, quote templates, and approvals.
  • Experience with DocuSign, Conga Composer, and integration tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; CPQ Specialist, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or other ITSM platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud.
