As a Sales & Marketing Office Assistant at W Goa located in Vagator Beach, Bardez, Goa, India, your primary responsibility will involve providing general office support to the Sales & Marketing team. This includes tasks such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying documents. You will be responsible for preparing various sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. Promoting brand awareness both internally and externally will also be a key part of your role. In addition, you will be tasked with gathering materials and assembling information packages like brochures and promotional materials. It will be essential to utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue while ensuring guest loyalty to Marriott. Your duties will also involve entering, retrieving, reconciling, and verifying information in the software used in the sales process, including commissions, leads, and third parties. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their questions and requests via phone and email. Maintaining professionalism by adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, and protecting proprietary information will be crucial. You will need to greet and assist guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with guests and team members. Building positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and addressing employee concerns will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will need to comply with quality assurance standards and expectations while performing physical tasks such as moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Any other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors should be carried out efficiently. Preferred qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, at least 1 year of related work experience, and no supervisory experience required.
