Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes Develop, Streamline and Optimize the Sales Process: Regularly evaluate and enhance the efficacy of the sales process, identifying areas that could be costing valuable deals and implementing solutions to keep the sales process in top shape. Oversee the Sales Funnel: Track conversion rates through each stage of the sales funnel, analyze data to make sound recommendations for improvement, and identify sticking points that impact sales velocity. Select, Implement, and Manage Sales Automation Tools: Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools by evaluating and optimizing the usage of current tools and managing the implementation of new sales automation systems. Manage CRM Data: Oversee the CRM system to ensure data is up-to-date, consistent, and optimized for the team's use, including managing contact lists, setting up automations, and managing custom fields and data. Perform Sales Forecasting: Manage forecasting and data analysis to provide insight into the team's performance and the sales quota they are working towards, sharing this information with the team and stakeholders to maintain alignment on key performance indicators. Work with Sales Leadership to Develop Organizational Goals: Provide data-driven input on future organizational goals, informing compensation decisions and future sales targets. Lead a Team of Sales Operations Professionals: When required, lead a team of sales operations analysts, overseeing their activities to ensure all responsibilities related to sales operations are efficiently managed. Qualifications Graduate / master's in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a similar role, preferably in IT sales. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use data to inform decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Zoho), Sales database integration and sales analytics tools. Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead initiatives from concept to completion.
