Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distribution channels, and enhancing brand visibility in the assigned area.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets

  • Build relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities

Market & Retail Management

  • Visit retail outlets, ensure availability & product display

  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights

  • Resolve retailer issues on price, supply, promotions

Distributor Management

  • Handle distributor relations, stock, and performance

  • Ensure inventory is maintained and stock is replenished

Promotions & Merchandising

  • Execute in-store branding, trade promotions

  • Collaborate with marketing for launches

Reporting

  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales reports

  • Analyze sales data and report trends


Tasks

Secondary Sales

  • Visit 5060 outlets/day

  • Collect orders, check stock/freshness, arrange products

  • Update orders in Sales App and report daily summary

Primary Sales

  • Check distributor stock

  • Maintain FIFO, collect payments, and place orders


Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation

  • Experience: 3+ years in FMCG

  • Age: 25 to 45 years

  • Gender: Male

  • Language: Kannada, Tulu

  • Travel: Own two-wheeler required

  • Device: Android smartphone


Working Conditions

  • Fieldwork (9 hours daily, 8 if outside beat)

  • Work days: Monday to Saturday

  • Reports to: Area Sales Manager
