Industry: Waste Management / Recycling Department: Sales & Business Development Location: Hyderabad Reporting to: Head of Business / Managing Director Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the plastic recycling sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to source plastic waste from generators (industries, bulk waste handlers, kabadiwalas), and to sell to manufacturers and other end-users. This role requires a basic understanding of the recycling ecosystem, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers and buyers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a sales strategy for plastic waste procurement. Identify and onboard plastic waste suppliers such as SMEs, Kabadiwalas and municipalities. Develop buyer channels. Monitor market trends and pricing, ensuring competitive and profitable sales. Negotiate contracts and close deals with both suppliers and buyers. Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment and quality compliance. Track sales KPIs and prepare regular performance reports. Attend trade shows, sustainability forums, and industry events to build brand presence and partnerships. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Business, Environmental Science, or related field. MBA preferred. Strong network in the plastic waste and recycling supply chain. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Knowledge of sustainability regulations and EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliance is a plus. Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.,
