Job Title: Sales Manager - Paints Location: Chennai - Trichy Department: Sales Desired profile: - Any Bachelor's degree, preferably MBA. - Min 2 years managerial experience in channel sales preferably in the reputed paint industry. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. - Knowledge of the local market and customer base. Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales & collection and promoting our new range of paints in the market. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving sales & collection targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of the paint industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Marketing: - Promote and sell the company's new paint products to retail stores, contractors, and end consumers. - Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve sales targets. - Conduct market visits to meet with current and potential clients, understand their needs, and promote our product offerings. - Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and painter meet events to promote our products with potential clients. 2. Customer Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. - Provide detailed product information, conduct product demonstrations, and offer recommendations to customers based on their specific needs. 3. Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, trends, and competitor activities. - Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them. - Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer and market insights to help improve and innovate products. 4. Sales Reporting: - Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Head, detailing sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. - Provide accurate sales forecasts and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. 5. Product Knowledge: - Stay updated on new product launches, industry developments, and competitive products. - Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. - Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications, providing technical support as needed. 6. Team Collaboration: - Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. - Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products. - Share best practices and market insights with the sales team to improve overall sales performance. 7. Administrative Duties: - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline. - Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability.
