Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting our freight forwarding and customs clearance services to new and existing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure sales targets are met Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of freight forwarding and customs clearance services Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and other performance metrics to senior management Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Stay up to date with changes in customs regulations, international trade agreements, and other relevant industry developments Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field Minimum 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, or logistics industry Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including transportation modes, customs clearance, and warehouse Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of customs regulations, international trade agreements, and other relevant industry developments Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Performance bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: Freight Forwarding Sales: 4 years (Required) Willingness to travel: 75% (Required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/04/2025,
