As a Sales Manager at our client's surface design studio based in Mumbai, India, your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability. Your proactive approach, exceptional listening skills, and persuasive sales acumen will play a crucial role in securing new business from both cold calls and warm leads. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales strategies to showcase interior and exterior products to a diverse clientele comprising architects, designers, and builders. Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, PMC consultants, interior designers, contractors, and real estate developers will be essential to your success in this role. In addition, you will be tasked with scouting for new project opportunities through field visits and networking, delivering engaging product presentations, and engaging in technical discussions with clients. Keeping a close eye on market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback will enable you to fine-tune your sales strategies effectively. Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets will be a key performance indicator, requiring seamless coordination with the marketing and technical teams for product training and promotional activities. Your ability to compile and present comprehensive sales reports to the management team will be instrumental in evaluating the effectiveness of your strategies and driving continuous improvement.
