Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify potential customers in various industries (plastics, coatings, chemicals, etc.) and develop strong, long-term relationships. Manage and nurture customer accounts to drive repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction. Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Head of Sales to execute sales strategies, align with business goals, and achieve individual and team sales targets. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and generate new sales leads through various channels, including trade shows, networking events, cold calling, and digital outreach. Sales Presentations & Proposals: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with potential clients, tailoring the message to meet their specific needs and requirements. Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts. Close sales deals and ensure smooth transition to the post-sales team for order fulfillment. Market Insights & Reporting: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Share relevant insights with the Head of Sales to help shape the sales strategy. Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, R&D, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers and to address technical or service-related queries. Sales Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Prepare and submit regular sales reports as required. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific requirements when interacting with clients and promoting products. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the chemicals or manufacturing industry. Experience in organic peroxides or a related field is a plus. Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, including lead generation, customer presentations, and closing sales. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred, with a willingness to quickly learn about organic peroxide products and their applications. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively engage with customers and internal teams. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Team Player: Collaborative, goal-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success. Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools for tracking and reporting purposes.
