Job Description
As a Sales and Marketing Executive in the publishing industry, your primary responsibilities will include conducting daily school visits to establish relationships with teachers, presenting the unique selling points of Madhubun products to subject teachers, distributing samples, and maintaining regular follow-ups. It will be essential for you to keep track of your Daily Sales Report (DSR) and share it with your reporting manager. Additionally, you will be tasked with building and updating a database of key decision-makers in schools and tracking school adoptions. Your role will also involve managing book returns, submitting Travel Allowance (TA) and workshop bills on time, meeting teachers post-workshops to secure book prescriptions, and distributing teacher support materials to user schools. To qualify for this position, you must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university and possess 4-6 years of relevant sales and marketing experience in the publishing sector. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in Hindi, English, and/or a regional language is essential. You should be a self-starter with strong persuasion skills, in-depth knowledge of competitor products, and a presentable, dynamic, and well-mannered demeanor.
