As an Area Sales Engineer at Engeotech Aqua Engineers, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and promote innovative water management solutions within your designated area. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs. Your role will involve identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing sales proposals, and negotiating contracts. Additionally, you will work alongside the engineering team to ensure client specifications are met and monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets, providing after-sales support, and addressing client inquiries will also be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) or a related field, along with proven sales experience, preferably in the engineering or water sector. Strong technical knowledge of water management systems and solutions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to travel as required are essential qualifications for this role.
