Job Description

As a Sales and Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategies aimed at increasing hotel bookings and revenue. You will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly in the corporate accounts, events, and conferences sectors. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners, will be essential in this role. Negotiating room rates and contracts with clients will also be a key aspect of your day-to-day activities. In the marketing aspect of the role, you will be required to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and enhance brand awareness. This will involve conducting market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities. Managing the hotel's online presence, including website content and social media accounts, will be crucial. Additionally, analysing and reporting on marketing metrics such as website traffic and social media engagement will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for managing and leading a sales and marketing team, setting goals and targets, as well as developing and managing budgets for sales and marketing initiatives. Collaboration with other hotel departments, such as operations and finance, will be necessary to ensure alignment and maximize revenue. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing will be essential to excel in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as food provided.
