Job Description

This job focuses on software & hardware development for mobile robotic systems. This includes development of core mobile robotics algorithms for fleet management and robot motion planning as well as integration of existing software packages or libraries into robotic solutions. Responsibilities Develop algorithms and implement software solutions for robotic navigation, motion planning, fleet management and robotics middleware Software development in C/C++/Python Software testing, debugging and deployment Hardware-software integration for developing robotics applications Technical project planning and execution on development projects for global industry members Must be hands-on and work well within a team of hardware and software engineers Technical write up and presentation Job Requirements Bachelor or Master Degree in Robotics Mechatronics, Computer Science or relevant discipline Programming/software development experience (GUI, drivers, Linux-based development) 1-2 years software development experience using object oriented programming languages, e.g., C++, Python, Java Knowledge of motion planning or control algorithms and software such as ROS/ROS2 and moveit will be advantageous. Knowledge of AI algorithms for path planning and reinforcement learining and libraries such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, OpenAI Gym will be advantageous Experience with robotics or control system for industrial automation will be advantageous Willing to learn and adapt to new technology quickly Technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver on time to customers Good interpersonal and communication skills,
