Job Description
As a Risk Support Manager at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Risk Manager and Central Risk Assessment Office. Your responsibilities will include providing advice, analysis, and guidance to the Governance leadership team on various Risk Management financial, performance, and operational matters. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Risk, People, and Global function to ensure the implementation of policy changes across relevant regions. Furthermore, you will champion a strong risk culture within the People governance & communication function, share knowledge on best risk management practices, and act as a key contact between the COO team and regional leaders regarding risk management activities. Additionally, your role will involve supporting the Global Risk Manager in leading the risk agenda, managing communications, and overseeing ad-hoc operational projects and tasks at the discretion of the Central Risk Assessment Office. To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant Risk Management qualification and/or have 8-10 years of experience in a financial services environment. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, operate in a complex matrix environment, and engage with multiple stakeholders will be crucial. Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities at all levels, and a proactive approach to tasks are essential for success in this position.
