Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position in Bangalore should possess a B.E / B.Tech /Diploma in Electronics with 7 to 10 years of experience in RF hardware and system design. You should have a strong understanding of RF component characteristics and validation including PLL, LNA, Mixer, PA, Filter, Coupler, switch, and power management components like LDO, Buck convertor. Your responsibilities will include schematic creation in OrCAD Capture, guiding the PCB team for RF PCB layout and routing, and knowledge of RF measurement techniques such as Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Gain, P1dB, VSWR, etc. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Vector network analyzer, Power meter, and Signal Generator. Experience with RF tools like ADS, AWR, and HFSS is also required. Experience in RADAR subsystem/system design is a plus. Your roles and responsibilities will involve frequency planning, power budget analysis, compliance to specifications/requirements, creating and documenting module level architectures for RF sub-systems, as well as project documentation needed for design, reviews, test procedures, ATP/QTP, etc. You will be required to collaborate with Digital Hardware, FPGA RTL, Software, and Mechanical teams during the design stage. You will also be involved in testing, integration, and qualification of systems. The mandatory skill set includes TR Module Design, CW/Pulsed Power Amplifier design, Synthesizer Design, Up/Down Convertor Design, and Lumped and Distributed element filter design. Additionally, you should have experience in handling a team of 2 or more Engineers (Design & Sr. Design Engineers).
