Job Description

As a retail merchandiser, your primary responsibility will be to ensure product availability, manage inventory, and optimize displays to boost sales, with a specific focus on building materials, tools, and equipment. Your roles and responsibilities will include driving sales through point-of-purchase and shelf management services, planning call schedules based on priorities, product promotions, and price updates, building relationships with store managers, department heads, and staff, addressing customer inquiries, and showcasing product features. You will also be responsible for maintaining store shelves by removing damaged items and optimizing product displays, monitoring competitor displays and pricing for call reports, managing inventory by restocking, tracking levels, and coordinating product returns, and reporting on retail location changes such as growth, expansion, or closures. You will be encouraged to take initiative in enhancing merchandising and exploring new opportunities. This is a full-time job with benefits such as food provided and provident fund. The schedule may include day shifts and rotational shifts. The work location is at Vatika India Sector 82 Gurgaon, Gurugram, Haryana, and you should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in retail merchandise.
